Hunting
Hunting, hunting, hunting. Its all people talk about this time of year. You either love it or hate it. I love it. It is a good way to get outside in the open woods. I like just being able to go outside, walk through the woods, look for sign on the ground and trees, and not shoot a single thing, and I will have more fun than spending the day watching TV. Sometimes it is so dull in the woods until you hear a squirrel, and you think there is a dear coming through. Sometimes you get lucky like me and shoot one 20 min. into the season. It is nice to have a completely free thanksgiving break, until you get a speeding ticket and now you have to work all break so you don't lose your license. I have to do that. Still Even if you don't like hunting and hunters, you should not call us killers. its not nice.

Cold weather is good weather
Come December my friends and I will have our fingers crossed for cold cold weather. Mainly because that is how ice is formed. Once we have good frozen lakes and ponds, then the ice fishing starts. It is one of my favorite ways to go fishing. Mostly because you can load up your tackle box with tip-ups live bait, vinison, a small grill, a pop up hunting blind, and some fire wood. My tackle box is a chest with skis attached to it. once you set up your camp with a nice warm fire you can hang out with friends, and just relax. You also get to fish all of the spots you can't hit during the summer because you don't have a boat or the pond has nasty weeds, which die in the winter because of lack of sunlight. My favorite thing about ice fishing is just the friends. Everyone who ice fishes has one or two friends who they always go with. That way you all can really drill some holes and find the hot spots. Ice fishing is just a good reason for idiots to walk on thin ice and indanger your life. Its fun.

A Few of My Favorite Things
Winter is closing in on us. That means two thing are about to take over my life, Snowmobiling and snowboarding. These are a few of my favorite things. Its a little easier to recover from a big wipe out on a snowboard than on a bike or skateboard. The snow is forgiving. It is a lot easier to take that second try off that jump that will set your skill just a tad bit higher than your buds in the winter. Once the snow gets thick then you get out the sled. Thats when things get dangerous. Heavy objects falling from the sky is an art form. Not just anyone can do it without a lot of falling off and being stupid enough to get back on again. Anyone who has a snowmobile can ride down a trail, and that is cool and great. Some people just like a little more fear and excitement in there life, so they jump off a mountain side with a snowboarder holding a rope behind them. I cant wait to find out the fun we will invent this winter.

The only truck worth owning
If you didn't know I like toyota trucks. Not the new stuff, but anything 88-94 is where its at. You cant kill them with a mud pit or a bolder. They are built to drive. the only problem I have had with them is a few lemon motors. The good thing is you can swap motors with a hand full of tools and about 12 hours. I have gone through 5 motors with my current truck, but I am currently having one built to last. All you need is a few good part sources. I have a few to share with you. For the everyday driver you should try summit racing for your parts at a resonable price. For motor work try toyotacarpart.com. For the serious bogger / rock crawler you can try northwestoffroad.com for some nice lifts and trail parts. hope this helps you.
